Pedreguer is home to L’Albarda Garden, a beautiful refuge bursting with Mediterranean flora and fauna and a space dedicated to science and conservation. This large garden envelops a Neoclassical villa and, best of all, it affords breathtaking vistas over El Montgó.  You simply have to see it in the flesh. The gardens in the Region of Valencia have some unexpected surprises up their sleeves.

In València, you will see the beautiful Botanical Garden of the University of Valencia, which has over 4,000 different plant species, runs an interesting cultural programme and boasts glasshouses that are a joy to wander around. It is an oasis of peace and quiet in the heart of the city where you can unwind in the shade of a ginkgo biloba. The Botanical Garden is also located close to El Turia Garden, another wonderful park that snakes its way through the city, passing by El Carmen district, and is bursting with life.

Also in the city, you simply have to visit a sweet, leafy garden that sits on the other side of the former bank of the river Turia. Monforte Garden is a treat to both locals and visitors where you can listen to the sound of birdsong and croaking frogs.

Lastly in this incomplete list of gardens in the Region of Valencia, we are taking you to L’Hort de Trénor in Torrent. Here we recommend walking slowly through the garden until you find the century-old Araucaria tree, an impressive living monument.
