A part of the festivities of the city in Alzira festivals are organized in urban neighbourhoods and rural districts, where there are still people who reject that modern times corner customs of their ancestors to honour a saint, or a holy or religious vocation. There are 22 festivals with around 1,500 registered participants which are held nowadays in Alzira.

From June to October, a continuous series of festivals enliven the lives of citizens and causes them to share emotions and laughter, getting a real mixture of styles, devotions, costumes and musical artistic evenings.

These are: festivals of the Holy Christ of Alborxi (end of June), Sant Pere Apòstol (end of June), Sant Cristòfol (early July), Sant Llorenç (between late July and early August), Muntanyeta del Salvador (between late July and early August), Verde del Roser Vilella (early August), Crist de la Verge Maria Raval de Santa Maria (early August) , Virgin of the Angels (between late July and early August), Forn de Carrascosa (early August), Crist de la Verge Maria Paz y Olivo (early August), Sant Roc (second week of August), Raco de les Vinyes (third week of August), Colonia Santa Maria (third week of August), Urbanització Sant Bernat (August 15), Sant Miquel La Garrofera (second half of August) , Verge del Roser Vallvert i la Coma (second half of August), Verge del Roser Tisneres-Xixera (second half of August), Ángel de la Guarda (between late August and early September), Verge del Lluch El Racó (beginning of September), Crist dels Alfarers (between late September and early October), Sant Francesc d'Assís (beginning of October) and Sant Judes Tadeu (end of October).
