Next 19th February, Sagunto will be filled with colour and culinary flavours with the celebration of the VI Gastronomic Contest of the Orange of Sagunto. The gastronomic contest has been recovered with the aim of promoting the benefits of the fruit by excellence in our agriculture. So imagine what kind of dishes are waiting for you with the orange in the epicentre of taste. Delicious idea!

 

The event, to be held in the Restaurant El Mirador, will be carried out by professionals, on behalf of the different participating restaurants in the modalities of tapa or starter, main course and dessert. In the preparations, you will appreciate the innovative character, originality, the presentation, the taste, aroma, texture and the technical difficulty on the preparations.

 

Despite the fact that the great day of the VI Gastronomic Contest of the Orange of Sagunto will be on February 19th, the goal of this edition is to publicize the event to the public in general; therefore, they will develop a digital cookbook with the winning recipes. No excuses not to enjoy the orange in all its glory!

Sagunto is a dynamic and lively city with many initiatives. In addition to its historical, cultural and patrimonial resources, with this contest, the city will have a place in the national gastronomic panorama.
