Ribarroja has one of the few Visigoth archaeological sites that you can visit in Spain. Pla de Nadal is a Visigoth era site where you can see how people lived, plus the town's customs, trades and tools during the period after the Roman occupation and before the Muslim conquest.

During your tour of the site, which you'll need to book beforehand at the Tourist office, you'll be able to catch a glimpse of what life was like for the Visigoths, a virtually unknown people who inhabited this region for many years.

You can make the most of your time in Ribarroja by visiting the Parque Natural del Turia nature area and riding the IE-031 equestrian trail, one of the most complete in Spain. The trail follows the river Turia along a 35.3 kilometre route, taking riders through the Parque Natural del Turia and forested areas such as La Vallesa and Les Rodanes.
