From July 3 to 12, the Cinema Roma and the House of Culture in Alfas del Pi host the screening of 30 feature films and as many short films, with the aim to encourage a love of cinema.
Films in original version, Spanish movies, documentaries, children's movies, ah ... and a return to the cinema on the beach. This is the offer of this village to meet the demands of residents and tourists from Alfaz, Benidorm, Altea and the entire region of Marina Baixa.
312 short films were presented in the only official competition section, and the organizing committee selected 21; 10 Valencia short films representing filmmakers of our community; 8 local short films shot in our region by local filmmakers; And we will also have a short movie cycle sponsored by Gas Natural and a second one on Italian cinema.
This year, the festival opens with a tunnel of wine in the courtyard of the old schools. It will continue with a swing night at L'Hort street, live opera at the House of Culture, a Big Band and other musical performances. And it will conclude in the street of the Roma Cinema.
"Blade Runner" and "Into the Wild" posters will be a reminder on the walls of the city of L'Alfas, a town of Motion Picture Arts and Literature.
We invite you to walk the red carpet at this destination on the Costa Blanca and dive into the stories of love and hate, comic and dramatic, to be projected throughout this 27th film festival at L'Alfàs del Pi.
