The Blue Paths are itineraries that link ports or beaches that have obtained the recognition of the Blue Flag and that invite you to discover the natural and heritage values that exist in that particular area. This award tries to reward the municipalities that have created or recovered roads along the coast, making them perfect resources to enjoy nature and enjoy recreational, tourism and environmental educational activities.

In the province of Castellón we find, from north to south, eight Blue Trails:

- Dunar System of Peñísmar, Peñíscola. It is a circular route of about 800 meters with wooden walkways over the dunes and incredible views of the Peñíscola Castle.

Blue Trail of Alcossebre, Alcalà de Xivert. It links Carregador Beach and Romana Beach through the dune system that serves as protection and maintenance for both sandy areas.

Paseo del Faro, Oropesa del Mar. Itinerary with charm that joins the beach of Morro de Gos with the lighthouse of the town and that also runs close to the Torre del Rey, a watchtower from the sixteenth century.

Litoral Park in Castellón de la Plana. It runs along the dune cordon of Playa del Pinar for a kilometer and a half, with informative panels of the flora and fauna of the area along the route.

Clot de la Mare de Deu, Burriana. This municipal natural place is the scenario that hosts the precious natural itinerary of this Blue Path.

Belcaire Blue Trail, Moncofa. This path connects the Playa del Masbó with the Beach del Grau through a limited walk alongside the sea and on the banks of the Belcaire River. It has an area of environmental interpretation.

Blue Trail of Xilxes. The vicinity of Les Cases Beach and the Cerezo Beach are the main structure through which this road runs until reaching the sandy area of La Llosa.

- Blue Path of the 6,000 Steps, Almenara. The trail starts with a viewpoint and with the traditional colorful fishing houses next to Casablanca Beach. It also goes next to the Capilla del Carmen de la Playa to end in a lonely Centennial Eucalyptus.
