El Mirador Templario” is a new signposted path in the Route of the Temple connecting the medieval castles of Peñíscola, Santa Magdalena de Pulpis and Alcalà de Xivert.More than 26 kilometres of route running through the Serra d'Irta Natural Park and combining a rich landscape with the monumental heritage of the historic forts of this area in the province of Castellón.


The castle of Xivert, head of the Templar commandery in 1243 and recently restored;the castle of Pulpis with its spectacular Keep and its walls;and the wonderful castle of Peñíscola are three of the most important and representative fortresses of the time.In this itinerary, you can wander through breath-taking landscapes until you reach the top of its castles, where you will take control of the entire territory from above and you will be able to have a view of the incomparable surroundings.Feel like a character in this story!


The Natural Park of La Serra d'Irta is a natural space where the three populations are located: Peñíscola, Santa Magdalena de Pulpis and Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre.A coastal mountain range, rocky and full of cliffs and small coves showing all the wonders of the Mediterranean flora and fauna.Can there be a better scenario to discover the traces left by the Templars?Discover it by yourself!
