Cherry Festival in Caudiel

Come to Caudiel this weekend and eat all the cherries you can! Next weekend, this town in Castellón will be holding its traditional “Fiesta de la Cereza” (Cherry Festival), celebrating the year’s crop of locally grown fruit that’s famous for its quality.

Some of the events taking place at this year's Festival include an open-air folk and crafts market, which runs throughout the weekend and sells locally grown produce and traditional food.

Caudiel's Cherry Festival is the perfect excuse for coming to see this town in the Alto Palancia region. Visitors will discover the spectacular countryside around the town, flanked by the Serra d’Espadà nature reserve to the north and the Serra Calderona nature reserve to the south.

And, of course, everyone will be enjoying the festival events in honour of the region’s iconic fruit, locally grown cherries in all their many varieties. The Festival programme features shows, children’s games, performances and the artisans’ market.
