Come and discover the history exuding from Todolella’s fantastic monuments, particularly the castle.

Castillo de Todolella, Todolella Castle, located in the province of Castellón, is one of the icons of the municipality: make sure you come and take a close-up look. The structure was built for defence purposes and as a manor residence in the 16th century and comprises four structures, sitting around a central patio, where there are different types of rooms.

The mason-built walls of Todolella Castle are topped with merlons, thanks to a recent restoration project. The castle is currently a private property and inhabited, but you can come for a visit when you book in advance.

We would highly recommend coming to explore Todolella and its Castle as well as the extensive historic heritage sites you will find in this part of Els Ports county. You will be surprised by the bridges, chapels and the abandoned hamlet of Sarañana, where you will have the opportunity to take some incredible photographs. The Traditional Historical Centre of Todolella, which is documented in the 9th century, will take you on a journey back in time, as will the castle. Make sure you don’t miss this history-steeped part of the Region of Valencia and the local traditions.
