The festivities held in Piles combine religious and recreational events in honor of Santa Barbara. The different liturgical events are completed with a solemn procession that runs through the main streets of the town. As for leisure activities, on the night of day 3, a popular open-air ball is held, which is attended by the vast majority of the inhabitants of Piles.
