An established festival more than 200 years old, celebrated on the night of 16 January, when the streets and squares of Alzira are lit and warmed up by hundreds of bonfires, chaired by the monumental bonfire at Main Square. The night of Saint Anthony, known popularly as the "Piglet", develops a particular procession of a variety of pets carried by children, with special participation of the horses, climbing the ramps of the Escuelas Pías Street.
