This course can be approached in two ways. The front nine holes are easy to play, with wide fairways bordered by thick Mediterranean vegetation.

Drivers and fairway woods can be used relatively safely. However, the back nine holes are much more technical, and require concentration and accuracy to reach the green in good shape.

The 17th and 18th holes are particularly tricky, and can be decisive in your final score, sometimes very painfully. The 17th, a 392-metre par 4, is the most difficult hole on the course, with a blind uphill tee shot.

A water hazard runs to the right and the fairway narrows as you approach the green. Line and length need to be judged carefully to prevent your previous good work from being undone.

How to get

Take the Alicante-Madrid dual carriageway A-31 and at kilometre 15, take the exit towards Elx-Aspe.
