The Centro beach is converted into the scene of the celebrations of the fiestas of San Juan. Everywhere is lit up with the traditional Farolets competition, where small lanterns are made by hand, by each of the participants. After the competition it is said that you must dip your feet in the sea in order to preserve good luck throughout the rest of the year.
