L'Oceanogràfic

L'Oceanogràfic

L'Oceanogràfic, located in Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences, is the largest marine complex in the whole of Europe, a unique space where visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty and secrets of the world's major seas and oceans, whilst learning more about the need to protect them.

L'Oceanogràfic is spread across several different buildings that house representations of all our major marine ecosystems: Mediterranean, Wetlands, Temperate and Tropical, Oceans, Antarctic, Arctic, Islands, Red Sea-Submarine Auditorium and Dolphinarium. In these nine themed submarine towers, visitors can observe the behaviour and lives of over 45,000 specimens of 500 different species up close.

L'Oceanogràfic also includes an Education and Research Building, a rehabilitation area for marine animals, and an access building, as well as restaurants and shops.
