Callosa d'En Sarrià
Set in the region of la Marina Baixa, the former Muslim farmstead of Callosa d'En Sarriá has left its people a valuable cultural legacy and wonderful landscapes. This town in the province of Alicante boasts an outstanding climate, but its real pride and joy is the delicious flavour of its prized medlar fruit, with Denomination of Origin. The Plaza de España, where the webcam is located, is where most celebrations are held in Callosa d'En Sarrià. The highlights of the town's cultural calendar are the Dances of Sant Jaume, a festival that dates back to 1819, and the Embassy of the Moors and Christians.
