Racó del Turia, more than a rice restaurant in Valencia
Its philosophy is based on the capital importance of raw materials with a clear focus: traditional, market-based Valencian cuisine.
Racó del Turia is one of the best rice restaurants in Valencia, as its 25 years of history can attest. Nevertheless, over the last few years it has become one of the finest restaurants in the city. Its philosophy is based on the capital importance of raw materials, with a clear focus: traditional, market-based Valencian cuisine, in which paella, soft and soupy rice dishes, fideuà, baked rice, all i pebre with eels, and delicious entrees made from the finest seasonal products, including wild fish, gourmet meat and home-made desserts. Who could resist such delicacies?
Vicente Romero Tadeo opened Racó del Turia in 1991. Eight years later, his son, Vicente Romero Sanchis, joined the team, after having received solid training in hospitality based on learning service, sommellery and cuisine, bringing much added value to the restaurant. The wine cellar of the Racó del Turia offers a selection of nearly 500 references among the finest Spanish and international wines.
