Cala Llebeig
This cove, formed by the mouth of the ravine of the Widow (barranc de la Viuda), is located between the municipalities of Teulada-Moraira and El Poble Nou de Benitachell, and has no road access. It can only be accessed by boat or on foot, following the course of the ravine from Teulada-Moraira or the path that runs along the cliff (Cliffs Route or Ruta de los Acantilados) from El Poble Nou de Benitachell. Both paths are part of the SL-CV 50 trail. The old fishermen houses surround the bay a few meters from the shore and at the left end of the cove you can see the point of L'Alderà, located at the very base of Morro del Bou.

Cala Nostra (Our Cove) is a small of coarse sand and stones, which is usually very quiet. It is also sometimes called Cala Lleida because of its proximity to the street of the same name.

La Illeta dels Banyets

La Illeta dels Banyets

The swimming area located around the “La Illeta dels Banyets” archaeological site is known as the Illeta dels Banyets beach, and consists of a rocky platform and a small stone cove forming an artificial link between the site and the mainland. It is a perfect place for diving.

Highlight: La Bassa de la Reina

La Bassa de la Reina (the Queen’s pool) is located behind the Club Náutico, next to the La Illeta dels Banyets archaeological site. This rocky platform is wreathed in legend; according to local tradition it was once the swimming pool of a Muslim queen, in the times of Muslim rule. However, in reality it was a Roman fish farm, which nowadays offers the delights of clean and crystalline waters.

The site also boasts a Snorkel Route, Los Baños de la Reina, suitable for everybody who likes diving and learning about our marine flora.
