Alarcón Palace

Built after the fire that destroyed the city in 1707, it is considered to be one of Xátiva's most important historical buildings because of its impassive grandeur. It has typical Baroque elements such as its huge volume, a "dovelada" facade, wrought iron balconies and tiled decoration. The facilities have been witness to important events in the history of the city, and received prominent figures in the history of Spain, such as Queen Isabel II. Nowadays the building houses the Courts.
