The Old Quarter

The Old Quarter of Titaguas maintains the beauty of past epochs and the progress of the town. In it, various constructions are maintained like the “Casa del Pilatos”, in the “Calle Era Peña” with remains of the old Calvary, or the “Casa de los Graneros” from 1722, whose distribution manifests the importance of cattle farming for the economy of the inhabitants. More recent are the Juvenile “teleclub”, the old girls school or the Jail, also important as architectural elements of the municipality. Standing out also are two fountains from the XVII, the “Fuente Vieja” and the “Fuente del Moral”, integrated into the landscape of the Old Quarter.
