The old dungeon

The old dungeon is situated at the entrance to the old Arab quarter, occupies some outbuildings that are fairly reduced in size and has two floors with a side stairway of just one flight and a turn on the last few steps. The ground floor, where the old dungeon was situated, is divided into two areas or rooms; the prison cell itself and an anteroom. It is currently closed to the public awaiting some improvements to the inside. Its origins could be mediaeval, together with other buildings that would have been semi-detached.
