Municipal museum

Most of it collection comes from the Iberian sites of Moixent: the settlement of La Bastida de Les Alcusses and the Necropolis of Corral de Saus. From La Bastida the ceramic remains, dishes, grinders, fragments of arms, pondus and fusayolas and iron, bronze and glass paste ornaments are exhibited. Moreover there is a reproduction of the Guerrero de Moixent (Moixent Warrior). From Corral de Saus ceramics, metals from household furnishings and architectural remains are on display. You will be able to contemplate a mythological sculpture that comes from one of the graves. Moreover, there are also some Roman remains; ceramics and Eneolithic bones from the Cova del Serruig. Likewise one can see the stone shield of Felipe II (Philip 2nd) and the bust of almond eyes that comes from the Palacio de Marqués de la Romana (Palace of the Marquis of La Romana - 13th Century).
