This Avenue is the main artery of the town and in which one can find: A cross with ceramic incrustations on the stone; a monument to the ceramic artists of Manises; and there is also an important collection of ceramic monoliths.

One finds a large cross with ceramic incrustations in the stone. The work is by Manises ceramic artist José Gimeno Martínez, and was first installed in the "Calvario" and then reinstalled in the avenue in 1973. It is an example of this local artisan's skill at majestically recreating the popular ceramics of the 18th and 19th centuries. This monument was constructed in memory of the victims of the Spanish Civil War.

To the right, and some metres along, we find the monument to the Manises Ceramic artists, and in particular to Don José Gimeno Martínez, an exceptional artisan who excelled in the period between 1920 and 1970 in the recuperation in Manises of the popular ceramics of the 18th and 19th centuries through his research into extinct formulas and techniques of traditional production. Through his work and creativity, José Gimeno recuperated the prestige of Valencian ceramics. This monument, which was inaugurated 1969, is the work of the Valencian sculptor Octavio Vicent.

Along the length of the Avenue we find a series of ceramic monoliths which begin with the Municipal shield of Manises and a view of the town, and which graphically show the different stages of elaboration in the ceramic process. Furthermore, there are a series of illustrations of the life and works of the famous Valencian writer Vicente Blasco Ibañez, from whom the Avenue takes its name. These ceramic panels are the work of the artist Juan Colón Buendía, an artisan who has followed in the footsteps of José Gimeno Martínez in perfectly recreating the style of traditional Valencian tiles of the 18th and 19th centuriest
