La Asunción de Nuestra Señora Parish Church in Llíria is a magnificent building contructed at the beginning of the 17th century and features an 18th-century Baroque façade. A striking church built in the style of the Counter-Reformation, it seeks to make a lasting impression on visitors.

This landmark in Llíria houses sculptures by the renowned Valencian Baroque sculptor Raimundo Capuz. Expect to be blown away by the artist’s creative expressivity and technical skill. La Asunción de Nuestra Señora Parish Church consists of a large nave flanked by two transepts, a dome over an ornate octagonal drum and the mausoleum of the Dukes of Llíria and Alba. Other features to admire once you’re inside are the Processional Cross, the Monstrance and the La Asunción de la Virgen Pillow, which dates back to the Renaissance and is crafted with delicate embroidery.
