THE VALENCIA NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

THE VALENCIA NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
This museum is an institution that exists to popularise, conserve and research the background to Natural History, especially in the Region of Valencia. Since its creation in 1978, the museum has been managed by the Entomology Foundation TORRES SALA, and maintains two large collections, one of entomology, (the science of studying insects) , the other of malacology (the study of molluscs). The present exhibition shows us in didactic and illustrated form, the complex natural world of insects and molluscs, respecting at the same time the historical value of these two collections. It is added to and renewed on a daily basis, and in the near future, it is hoped to be able to incorporate it into a more extensive museum project.
