The church of San Juan del Hospital, one of the oldest in the city, stands out for its layered paintings and plaster-work decoration to be found in the Santa Barbara chapel. In another chapel next to it can be seen painted murals corresponding to the Gothic period, discovered recently thanks to restoration work. This church, which is reached by way of a Baroque-style house, has a single nave and inside one can see the barrel vault above.
