The site consists of an Iberian necropolis with a tower located next to an access door in the wall. Remains of iron weaponry, Greek ceramics and examples of adornments for funeral apparel are some of the articles that have been found here. Amongst the monumental sculptures of the necropolis, attention is drawn to sculptures of bulls and, especially, to the bust of the “Dama de Guardamar”, discovered in 1987, it is similar to the Dama of Elche, although it is considered to be older.
