These extraordinary buildings were designed and built by the well-known Catalonian architect Ricardo Bofil. The 3 buildings located in the high of a cliff include ‘Xanadú’, a prototype city garden constructed in 1968, the ‘Muralla Roja’ (Red Wall) reminiscent of traditional Mediterranean casbah constructions, concluded in 1972. ‘The Anfiteatro’, concluded in 1985, in the form of an Amphitheatre has a swimming pool – which seems to be hanging over the sea - occupying the place of the stage.
