What to see in Siete Aguas

Start your visit in the centre of Siete Aguas where you can pop your head into San Juan Bautista Parish Church and look out for sections of the old town wall in the narrow streets. The traditional houses pair with a lovely atmosphere, promising an enjoyable visit.

Before you explore the landscapes, take some time to look around the Museum Collection at Siete Aguas Museum. Here you’ll find everything from palaeontological findings to items from the Neolithic period, Bronze Age, Iberian and Roman times. You’ll be fascinated by what you’ll learn.

In and around Siete Aguas you’ll find constructions that are a joy to photograph like the bridge over the River Suc, built in the 18th century on the remains of a much older bridge, dating to the 15th century, and an old ice house called Pico de la Nevera. The latter sits in a pretty nature area with a protected plant micro-reserve where you’ll see a wide variety of plant species.

The Fountains Route is another great way to get to know Siete Aguas. It will lead you to beautiful nature areas like La Tejería Fountain, Pico de la Nevera, Pico del Tejo, Umbría del Fresnal-Villingordo and more. If you enjoy walking through scenery, Siete Aguas has got a lot to offer. Come and wander among juniper trees and leafy shadows as you explore a unique destination.
