What to see in Ribesalbes

While wandering around Ribesalbes, you’ll realise how photogenic the town is. Take a picture of the historic centre with river Mijares in the background and the stone bridge in the foreground. Once over the bridge and inside the old quarter, we recommend leisurely making your way to San Cristóbal Parish Church. This 18th-century Neoclassical building features beautiful interior chapels and a stone fountain at the entrance.

You could then visit La Baronía Museum, housed in a former manor house once occupied by a baron. It exhibits a beautiful display of artisanal ceramics from the town as well as prehistoric artefacts such as fossils. Step inside to also learn about Ribesalbes’ fascinating past!

To round off your exploration of the landmarks in Ribesalbes, we recommend walking up to El Calvario Chapel. The winding path is flanked by pine trees and dotted with typical tiled alcoves with hand-decorated ceramics, making the uphill climb worth the effort!
