This bell tower known as “El Fadrí” (the single) has the honour of being the symbol of the city and has been recently restored. Its name comes from being a building of octagonal ground plan exterior to the temple. It has various floors which, in ancient times, housed a prison and the bell-tower keeper’s house. Its declaration as a monument is in hand.
