THE NATURAL SCIENCES MUSEUM (Paleontological Museum)
This museum offers us the chance to discover, by way of a trip through different Nursery Gardens, how natural scenery and eco-systems have evolved over time. It houses an impressive paleontological display from the fourth geological era of South America – the legacy of Rodrigo Botet- as well as an interesting collection of molluscs both indigenous and from other countries. Of outstanding importance is the skeleton of the megaterium, a large extinct animal which is the most emblematic in the museum. In addition to all this, there is an area exhibiting eco-systems from the Valencia region, as well as a series of documentaries and other audio-visual aids that provide information about natural eco-systems.
