The fifth edition of the Festival del Mediterrani, which will take place in the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia from 26th May to 1st June with the title Fires and poisons, includes in its programme the operas Il trovatore by Giuseppe Verdi, Medea by Luigi Cherubini and a concert version of Tristan und Isolde by Richard Wagner. 

In the Castle of Santa Bárbara in Alicante a black and white flag which announces the exhibition Pirates, the thieves of the sea has been waving for weeks. The exhibition will be in the halls of Cuerpo de Guardia and the Taberna in the castle in Alicante until March 2013. Come and meet Barbaroja or Dragut, they do not scare you anymore.
