This weekend sees the VLC Boat Show take place in Valencia's Marina Real Juan Carlos I, the perfect excuse for going down to the port area and enjoying the spring weather, taking a stroll round the Marina and admiring the amazing boats on show.

Valencia's floating exhibition will be running from 18 to 22 April, and this year's event is not only well on the way towards being one of the country's top nautical shows, it also aims to become a leading business, social, cultural and sporting event with a strong recreational side.

Anyone visiting Valencia this weekend has a fantastic chance to go and see the Marina Real Juan Carlos I and the floating exhibits at the VLC Boat Show.

Plus, a range of cultural and sporting activities are planned at the Marina Real during the next few days. Parallel events include displays of all kinds of vessels, from remote controlled boats to competition boats, canoes, traditional lateen and gaff-rigged sailing boats, plus more modern disciplines such as kayak polo and paddle surfing.

Come and explore the nautical scene at Marina Real Juan Carlos I, a fantastic location and ideal for a stroll or for taking your bike or roller skates out along more than 4 kilometres of cycle paths.  This open-air complex also has 2,500 m2 of children's play areas. After a morning of sport and games, why not have a delicious lunch in one of the seafront restaurants serving Mediterranean cuisine? At the Marina you'll find a wide range of top quality places to eat at prices to suit all budgets.
