The Purísima Fair in Segorbe is one of the oldest in Valencia, as it was created through one of the prerogatives of the king of Aragon, Pedro IV “el Cerimoniós”, over six hundred years ago. Since then, Segorbe has been holding this fair annually on the date of the festivity of the Purísima (Immaculate Conception). And, like every year from the 6th to the 8th of December, Segorbe decks itself out to host its traditional market.
