The town of Mascarell, more medieval than ever
Publishing date 3/11/2014
Mascarell, a small walled town in Nules, hosts this weekend a medieval fair with knight battles, a camp, exhibitions, a meeting of bolilleras and a concert of medieval music. Come to Mascarell and return to the Middle Ages.
The program of the 8th Medieval Fair of Mascarell also includes theatre performances, battles of knights, a camp and even a parade of King James I, as well as a medieval music concert given by the Orchestra Laudística Daniel Fortea inside the town church and a meeting of the best lace makers (bolilleras).
Thousands of people can enjoy a show where the main attraction is undoubtedly Mascarell itself, a walled town of great heritage value.
