Requena holds its 1st Gastronomy Event

Following hot on the heels of Requena’s 20th Traditional and Quality Sausage Fair, the 1st Requena Gastronomy Event is now also up and running until 24 February. This event is the perfect excuse for going to Requena and trying its wonderful gastronomy.
Following hot on the heels of Requena's 20th Traditional and Quality Sausage Fair, the 1st Requena Gastronomy Event is now also up and running until 24 February. This event is the perfect excuse for going to Requena and trying its wonderful gastronomy.
A total of 13 restaurants are taking part in the initiative, offering delicious menus for only €19.90 based on sausages and local products from Requena, all washed down with the region's great wines. Plus, if you show your restaurant receipt, you can get a discount when you buy sausages and wines in a range of Requena shops.
If you want to really make the most of your time in Requena and stay overnight, several local hotels are joining in the event by giving discounted room rates up to 24 February.
For people who couldn't get to the Sausage Fair, this event is a fantastic opportunity to try Requena's varied and delicious gastronomy, combined with a tour of the area's cultural and heritage attractions.
