The national Winter Regatta sets sail from Altea

This weekend, Altea is hosting the 200 Mile A2 cruisers race, the first national Winter Series Regatta and one of the main point-scoring competitions for the Spanish A2 Championship for RI cruisers. Both RI Cruisers and Mini 6.50 class craft will be gathering in this Alicante town. Boats from all along the Spanish coast will be competing in the top-level competition on 1, 2 and 3 March. The regatta is being held in waters off Altea, Ibiza and Formentera.

This weekend, Altea is hosting the 200 Mile A2 cruisers race, the first national Winter Series Regatta and one of the main point-scoring competitions for the Spanish A2 Championship for RI cruisers. Both RI Cruisers and Mini 6.50 class craft will be gathering in this Alicante town. Boats from all along the Spanish coast will be competing in the top-level competition on 1, 2 and 3 March. The regatta is being held in waters off Altea, Ibiza and Formentera.

Altea's coastal waters are set to host a top-level sporting event. Craft from various locations along the Spanish coast will be gathering on the first weekend in March to compete in the 27th 200 Mile A2 regatta, organised every year by Altea Sailing Club.

Participating craft will set sail from Altea marina heading for Ibiza and Formentera. The prize giving ceremony will be held on Saturday 9 March.
