MACA hosts the exhibition “A modo de reflexión”

“A modo de reflexión” (By way of reflection) draws together a set of works from the Caja Mediterráneo Collection and traces the successive artistic trends that have left their mark on Spain from the period of transition to democracy up to the present day. The exhibition features 13 works by 11 leading artists, namely Ignasi Aballí, Montserrat Soto, Pep Agut, Antonio Murado, Joan Fontcuberta, Jordi Alcaraz, Prudencio Irazábal, Juan Ugalde, José Manuel Ballester, Jesús Pastor and Susy Gómez.

"A modo de reflexión" (By way of reflection) draws together a set of works from the Caja Mediterráneo Collection and traces the successive artistic trends that have left their mark on Spain from the period of transition to democracy up to the present day. "A modo de reflexión" invites the viewer to reflect on both their own concept of reflection and on the act and effect of reflecting. In this exhibition, the spectator can explore each and every meaning of reflection. Works that show the image of a reality that entraps us through playful transparencies and reflections.
