We are speaking of the longest Green Route in Spain which covers more than 160 kilometres between Teruel and the Valencian coast. The stretch which is inside The Region of Valencia has a length of approximately 70 kilometres. This fantastic route sets off from the Plateau de Barracas in the province of Castellón and descends up to the area of the orchards in the province of Valencia, ending in Algimia de Alfara. It is one of the easiest BTT routes and it is marked as a route with a moderate difficulty. Nevertheless, it is not necessary to cover the entire route, since it is possible to come out at several localities which have train station.

The beginning is in Barracas and it crosses in whole 15 tunnels and 8 bridges which are typical features of the green routes and contribute largely to its appeal. The nicest part of the route is in the reservoir of the Regajo and in beautiful sceneries like the Meseta de Barracas, the high places of the Ragudo and the Valle del Palancia and also in the historical town centres of Segorbe and Jérica.

We expect you feel like covering other BTT routes in the Region of Valencia after discovering this wonderful Green.
