The fair has stands with sports products and information on local, regional, national and international races.

On Saturday 17 at 6.00 in the morning, the Penyagolosa Trails 2014 races will begin at the running trails of the Universitat Jaume I. Every year, this event has an increasingly larger number of participants, more related projects, and it has become a reference in the national and regional calendar of long-distance mountain races. In 2014, the Penyagolosa Trails MiM will celebrate its 16th edition, and the CSP115 will celebrate its IIIrd edition, being the FEDME Spanish Ultratrail Championship for the second year in a row.

The event allows participants to know the region of L'Alcalaten in Castellón in great detail, as it leaves the city of Castellón at sea level, and both races cross a part of the province towards the hinterland of Castellón, specifically the Hermitage of Sant Joan de Penyagolosa, at an altitude of 1280 metres, in the region of Vistabella. The races cross several towns in their path, and a large part of the trail takes place through thousand year-old paths and trails loaded with history, culture, tradition, flora and fauna.

The Penyagolosa Trails MIM spans a distance of 63 kilometres, with an accumulated 3.045 of upward slopes and 1.833 metres of downward slopes. The Penyagolosa Trails: IM Marató i Mitja (Marathon and a Half) is the classic long-distance mountain race in the province of Castelló, being a local and national reference that celebrates its sixteenth edition in 2014. This test of endurance in the semi-self-sufficiency category begins at sea level and goes through several regions in the province in a maximum time limit of 15 hours, crossing the towns of Castellón, Borriol, Villafamés, Les Useres, Lucena, Xodos and Vitabella in its path, reaching the goal located at Sant Joan de Penyagolosa, at an altitude of 1.280 metres.

The Penyagolosa Trails CSP-115 is an 118 km-long ultra-trail with an accumulated 5.439 of upward slopes and 4.227 metres of downward slopes.   Beginning at sea level, the race ends at the Sanctuary of Sant Joan de Penyagolosa, at an altitude of 1280 metres above sea level, crossing the districts of Castellón, Borriol, Villafamés, Les Useres, Lucena, Atzeneta, Benafigos, Culla, Xodos, Villahermosa and Vistabella in its path. With a semi-self-sufficient character and a maximum duration of 30 hours, the third edition of Penyagolosa Trails CSP 115 will once again be the SpanishUltra Trail Fedme 2014championship, as well as a scoring race for the first national ultra-trail circuit, the Spain Ultra Cup.
