A race for the most beautiful places in Castellón

The Tour of Castellón and the Penyagolosa Trophy, which takes place on 10, 11 and 12 June, is one of the most prestigious schedules.
If you are fond of the two wheels, on 10th, 11th and 12th of June, you have an unmissable event with Volta XXXIV Castelló, routes which include some of the most beautiful roads in the county. This year, the largest participation, 19 cycling teams compete throughout the national level. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most prestigious races on the calendar.
The first stage will start in Betxí, a town located at the foot of the Sierra de Espadán where the cultivation of orange orchard and upland predominates, and ends at the Castle of Onda, a town steeped in history. The next day you will have the opportunity to enjoy two tests. The first arriving and finishing in Benicàssim, known for its beaches, clear waters, and its proximity to Desert de les Palmes, the magical natural park that runs the race in two of its sections. The day will conclude in the afternoon with a team time trial in the setting of Grao de Castelló.
The last day you will experience the classic Penyagolosa Trophy, its 37th edition, a milestone in the history of cycling in Castellon, departing from the main square of Castellón to the arrival in Vistabella, a gateway to the Natural Park of Penyagolosa. This town was declared municipality of tourist interest in the biodiversity of its landscapes and its vast cultural heritage.
