Discover Cala del Tío Ximo in Benidorm

Cala del Tío Ximo is on the northern side of town, surrounded by steep cliffs and very close to the Serra Gelada mountain range. This charming cove allows tourists to escape the hustle and bustle of Benidorm's busy main beaches.

The little cove is a mix of fine sand and rock and makes an ideal place for snorkelling in the crystal clear water, from where you can see straight down to the beautiful rocky sea bed.

Cala del Tío Ximo is just past Rincón de Loix and is the perfect counterpoint to the huge expanses of golden sand on Benidorm’s main beaches.

One of the cove’s main attractions is that it seems completely inaccessible. You have to go round the mountain overlooking Rincón de Loix and then travel inland for about one kilometre along a narrow winding road. It’s not difficult, but you have to know where you’re going, so the cove doesn't get crowded – you really should visit it!!
