The biggest music festival, FIB 2013, gets underway

This year's FlB (Benicassim International Festival) runs from 18 to 21 July and features Queens Of The Stone Age, Beady Eye, Primal Scream, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers. These headlining bands will be taking to the Maravillas stage, one of three on which more than 80 groups have confirmed they'll performing at the 2013 event.

For thousands of people, the arrival of summer means it's time to plan a trip to Benicassim and live an unforgettable week packed with music and beach fun in the idyllic location where FIB is held every year. Plus, anyone coming to the Benicassim International Festival can look forward to 4 days of music and 8 days of camping.

Benicassim is on the Mediterranean coast, only a few kilometres from Castellón, in the heart of the Plana Alta region. Lying beneath the mountains of the Desert de les Palmes nature reserve, it has an enviable climate plus some spectacular beaches, including Voramar, Almadraba, Sant Vicent, Els Terrers and Heliópolis.

 

This year's festival programme features more than 80 concerts and DJ sessions on three stages. Headlining acts taking to the Maravillas stage include top artists like Dizzee Rascal, Primal Scream, Beach House, Miles Kane and many more. The Festival site covers an area of around 130,000 square metres, with three stages plus a range of services including camping pitches and food outlets.
