Crafts, live music, dance, theatre, medieval characters and a whole host of other surprises are all planned this week from 16 to 18 August, at the traditional Medieval Fair in Bejís, a lovely town near Castellón's Mediterranean coastline. The town is packed with priceless treasures, such as the spring of Los Cloticos and the impressive aqueduct of Los Arcos. Under the watchful eye of a castle that dates back to Roman times lies Bejís, a lovely town near Castellón's Mediterranean coastline. The town is packed with priceless treasures, such as the spring of Los Cloticos, the source of Bejís mineral water. Its geographical location means that Bejís is home to a huge variety of wildlife and plants, plus forests of Kermes oaks, Scots pine and holly. This Castellón town also has many monuments, including some beautiful chapels, a 16th century church and the impressive aqueduct of Los Arcos.
But it's a festival time that the town really comes into its own and shows off its best assets. So, this week, we invite you to come and see the traditional Medieval Fair for yourself. From 16 to 18 August, come to Bejís and discover its crafts, watch how people used to work in bygone days, and experience its traditions at first hand.
