The southernmost part of the Region of Valencia offers an extensive selection of diving spots. Isla de Tabarca, for instance, which has a marine reserve, crystalline waters and meadows of Mediterranean tapeweed. Dénia also lends itself to underwater explorations with its rocky cliffs and beautiful coves, both sandy and pebbly.

Altea and Benidorm both have islets floating just off the coast where you can enjoy gazing at the sea life as you bathe in the warm waters. Xàbia/Jávea, Benitachell and Calp are also worthy of a spot on this list. Here you will find diving centres offering excursions for both beginners and experienced divers, providing all the equipment you’ll need to explore the seas.
