Zero Gravity in the City of Arts and Sciences

The Príncipe Felipe Science Museum is a building that provides facilities through which people can know everything related to the evolution of life, science and technology in an educational, interactive and fun way. In fact, Zero Gravity is an exhibition that reveals the role and utility of large space telescopes, the research teams that operate with them and how to get the energy they need to work. The exhibition includes a amazing cube-shaped space whose interior is covered with multiple mirrors that project real images of the cosmos and the Earth seen from the space.

Zero Gravity in the City of Arts and Sciences

The City of the Arts, the complex which includes the Principe Felipe Science Museum, consists of six major architectural elements. The first, the Hemisfèric, is a room that houses three projection systems in a concave screen of 900 square metres. Next to the Umbracle Hemisfèric there is a viewpoint with gardens which hosts all kinds of events. The Oceanogràfic, the third element, has different aquatic environments, on the one hand the Mediterranean Sea, on the other Wetlands and Temperate and Tropical Seas and Oceans, in addition to the Dolphinarium. The Reina Sofia Arts Palace, dedicated to opera program, is also part of the complex, as well as the Agora, the multifunctional area of the complex.
