Benidorm, a natural paradise on the Costa Blanca coastline

    Publication date: 08/02/2010

The Mediterranean breeze gently sweeps over the cliffs of the Serra Gelada Nature Park, an idyllic area located between Benidorm, L'Alfàs del Pi and Altea. A protected space that spans the whole of the mountain range as well as the little islands of Mitjana, el Illot de Benidorm, La Olla and La Galera.

This was the first marine/land nature park in the Region of Valencia. On its coastline, there are cliffs over 400 metres high, home to some highly valuable vegetation and a wide variety of fauna. The Serra Gelada mountains undoubtedly provide one of the most unique landscapes on the Costa Blanca coastline, and are well worth exploring due to the unbeatable views offered by their signposted footpaths and trails that will take you to the most beautiful spots.
