From December until February, the Alicante Archaeology Museum (MARQ) will be home to an exhibition entitled Calp, Archaeology and Museum, which looks at the rich material culture of the town of Calp, in Alicante province, and the archaeological sites and materials contained in the Peñón Archaeology Museum.

The MARQ is reassessing the traditional notion of an exhibition, understood as a collection of findings, duly classified and catalogued. This museum is extremely interesting from an educational point of view, and at the same time fun and thorough in its exhibitions. At the MARQ, different exhibition areas are linked through themed introductory blocks that provide chronological continuity to the contents and which are supported by interactive spaces that include detailed information about archaeological sites, descriptions of the archaeological exhibits, the lives of the different cultures, etc.
