Taste of Mushrooms

Heritage, art, culture and tradition come together in the town of Segorbe in Castellón province. It is worth visiting the historic quarter, where you will find the Aqueduct, the City Walls, Prison and Hangman's Tower, the Cathedral-Basilica and the former Ducal Palace. But if you're more of a nature lover, treat yourself to a stroll by the River Palancia and enjoy the refreshing waters of the Esperanza natural spring.

However, every plan requires an excuse to make it happen, and here's the perfect one. From 7^th to 22^nd November, the capital of Alto Palancia will be hosting a succulent celebration, the III Gastronomic Mushroom Fair. Over these few weeks, a number of restaurants in Segorbe will be serving up a variety of dishes based around the highly-prized chanterelle mushroom.
